Quite nice stay.

Pros: Good breakfast. The location was fine. Very clean and nice.

Cons: I normally like to have a nice meal at the restaurant where I stay. This wasn’t possible because the restaurant was pre-booked. They had an extension cord for my CPAP machine which I require next to the bed. Unfortunately there were no electrical sockets at all there- I like to have two.

Pros: Lovely, cozy, and very charming hotel. It is next to the train station so it’s perfect as a base for the amazing hiking routes nearby. We loved the breakfast too!

A great hotel !

Pros: Really lovely hotel with very friendly, welcoming staff. Nice, tasteful and well appointed room and bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with a range of soft drinks available to buy from a bar fridge in the corridor. The location, Teufen, is an easy, short drive from the centre of St Gallen. Carparking for guests available at the back. The breakfast is wonderful and generous and beautifully presented.

Great hotel and even better restaurant in the heart of Appenzell

Pros: The restaurant ist amazing! 14 points G&M. The service is best in class - kudos to Petra for finding us a table when arriving late, and for the great service! The rooms are renovated and very comfortable.

Cons: It was all good - maybe we were lucky, but it was perfect for us!

Pros: a nice hotel in the center of the town within walking distande to tram station, with comfortable beds, a good restaurant and friendly staff.

Zentral und amächelig

Pros: Sehr schönes, zentral gelegenes Haus mit einem wunderschönen Gastraum. Der Blick auf die Bergkette vom Hohen Kasten bis zum Säntis ist umwerfend. Das Zimmer ist zwar ein wenig 08:15, aber durchaus ästhetisch eingerichtet. Das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich und grosszügig. Das nicht üppige, aber klassische und reichhaltige Frühstück wird an den Tisch serviert.

Cons: Die Kirche mit regelmässigem Geläut und grossen Glocken steht gegenüber. Wenn das jemand nicht mag, könnte es ein Problem sein.

Zentrale Lage

Pros: Das Hotel Anker befindet sich in zentraler Lage in Teufen, der Bahnhof ist ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Im Haus befindet sich ein gutes Restaurant und rundherum sind andere Restaurants und Läden. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sauber und komfortabel. Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung kostenlos für Gäste und sogar eine Lademöglichkeit für unser E-Auto gab es.

Cons: Leider hat das Hotel kein Aufzug. Wenn man schweres Gepäck hat ist das ein Problem.

Tolles kleines Hotel in Teufen mit viel Charme und moderner Ausstattung im traditionellen Haus

Pros: Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig, die Zimmer sind super modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war eigentlich perfekt. Eine sehr schöne Kombination eines alten traditionellen Hauses mit einer modernen Einrichtung. Parkplätze gibt es auch und die ganze Atmosphäre ist sehr persönlich.
