Exceeded any expectation. Can only recommend!

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is spotless. The breakfast very good. the option to purchase and have dinner at the hotel restaurant was very convenient. The dinner was excellent. You can tell they care for presentation as well as taste. I would go again!

Cons: The only downside was the noise of the passing cars. I would recommend to the property better soundproofing.

Pros: Der alte Appenzeller Gasthof hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Auch das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet und schmeckte hervorragend. Auch das Frühstück war genau nach unserem Geschmack. Einen Aufenthalt können wir nur empfehlen. Das Haus liegt im schönen Appenzellerland, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und einen Katzensprung vom Kurort Heiden entfernt.

Cons: Da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln!

Ausserordentlich schöner Landgasthof an idyllischer Lage

Pros: Ausserordentlich schöner Landgasthof, klein, mit wenigen Zimmern. Wunderschön eingerichtet, grosses Zimmer mit Sitzecke und sehr bequemen Betten. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und können den Landgasthof wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
