Perfect hotel to visit St. Gallen ... Trés chic ... with great wellness facilities

Pros: The Einstein Hotel is very chic. Our room was a 'standard' room, really nice, excellent bedding and comfortable. There was a very serviceable minibar, which was a nice surprise. I would have also liked to visit their bar which looked fun, but we were too busy. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is super close to the Abbey and Library. An excellent plus was access to a very high standard wellness area with pool, saunas and weight rooms.

Refined taste, excellence

Pros: I stay at this hotel every year in December when I attend a medical congress and every time there is only excellence from the quality of the bed and the pillow to the bar cigar club and spa not to mention the two star Michelin restaurant up in the attic .

Best hotel I've ever stayed at

Pros: Room was absolutely outstanding - the biggest and best room I've ever stayed in. All of the facilities were exceptional and top of the line. I've never been more impressed with a hotel! Great TV and seating area, plenty of plug points for charging, bathroom was outstanding, bed incredibly comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The old town is amazing, St Gallen is a very nice place to visit.

Pros: I stayed at the Einstein St Gallen when I was watching Wales v France in Euro 2025. It was great to get the hotel room because the match did not finish until just before 2300. It was very luxurious, the room was very nice. Breakfast was in the conference building a opposite, maybe 25m walk.

Clean, comfortable and relaxing.

Pros: Lovely, comfortable room. Great spa facilities. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location.

Cons: Wish the spa had been open later on the weekends and we only had one night and arrived 90mins before it closed.

Amazing stay in Einstein: old town charm, top cocktails and spa.

Pros: Amazing location, steps away from the old town with an excellent wellness/spa attached. Can’t speak highly enough about the cocktail bar.

Cons: Proper coffee in the room would have a been a plus.

Comfort and good value for money

Pros: The hotel was stylishly furnished and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and there was a possibility to choose from a selection of pillows. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The bistro was very high quality and same goes with the bar / cigar lounge. The gym was well equipped for strength training and the spa area was very nice. Although as a Finn I have to say that a 50 degree sauna is considered cold. 😅

Cons: The drapes weren’t fully blocking all the light but that’s nitpicking. I expected to have a double bed but it was two smaller beds pushed together. It was good for two nights, but not my personal preference. Altogether we really enjoyed our stay here!

Pros: The gym adjacent to the hotel was brilliant with great facilities and a pool/sauna/spa area. Also the hotel is well situated for a short (uphill!) walk to the Drei Weieren, outdoor swimming ponds with good facilities and plenty of space for sitting, relaxing, sunbathing around the site
