Accommodation near a wonderful lake view

Pros: The location and the view were absolutely perfect. The room was quite cozy and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was a bit below my expectations. I would especially like to thank Salome from the reception and all the restaurant staff for their smiling faces and helpful behavior.

Cons: I didn't like some of the surly staff and their busybody behavior.

Pros: A very charming little castle just above Lake Constance nestle in a beautiful garden, walking distance to the lake. The rooms a spacious and very clean, the bed very comfortable. Don't miss out on the excellent restaurant! The 4 course menu is an absolut must! Modern German kitchen from local produce. Delicious! The service is very friendly and accommodating! Same goes for the breakfast: very friendly service and local breads, marmalades and cheeses.

Beautiful chateau with views across Lake Constance

Pros: Beautiful location with a view across Lake Constance. The roman spa was blissful. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very good. Beautifully restored chateau.

Unforgettable stay in the castle full of history!

Pros: This place is, above all, full of history. The last emperor of Austria-Hungary, Blessed Charles Habsburg, stayed there with his wife, Servant of God Zita, and their family; the history of the castle is also related to, among others, the French Revolution. There is an old, very interesting chapel next to it. The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

Man fühlt sich schon ab der Zufahrt zum Schloss wohl

Pros: Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal. Da ich spät anreiste, wurde mir trotz Küchenschluss die Wahl für ein Abendessen gegeben. Ich reise sehr viel, aber ich wurde schon sehr lange nicht mehr zum Zimmer begleitet mit kurzer Führung durch das Gebäude. Service par excellance!
