Hotel Mozart

Thank you for a great stay !

Pros: The manager , the staff , the breakfast buffet , the outside terrace , incl. restaurant , the location ( proximity to lake , old town, railway station), the comfort of the room, cleanliness

Cons: Occasional noise from railroad

Nice hotel in the city center. Rooms are large but a little outdated. Good breakfast

Pros: The breakfast was fresh and delicious. And the selection was wide enough. They also had a special sunday brunch that we were offered for an extra but declined. It's probably worth it if you wish for a full meal (the extra food looked great!). The beds were large, and the room big enough with good storage space.

Cons: It's an old building that would benefit from renovation. Nothing too bad, just a few details, so if you don't mind them it won't impact your stay. Mind that, if you come by car, the elevator doesn't reach the parking. The communication could have been better. After booking, we were promptly contacted for some upgrades that we accepted but didn't receive (nor paid). We didn't mind and didn't raise this with the staff.

Pros: Lovely hotel, very friendly and the food was excellent. We had a room with an amazing view of the lake too. Recommend highly if you want to stay in Rorsach

Good location close to the lake

Pros: Location was very good and the staff were nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated however clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: If you are a light sleeper the train passes close by. However it does not run in the middle of the night. It dis not bother us as we are used to this sound.

This is a charming hotel, with lovely facilities. The breakfast was excellent.

Pros: It is in an excellent location, walking distance to everything. We were travelling by bike and they have good facilities to store bikes.

A very nice stay in a cute romantic little hotel :)

Pros: Very clean and super friendly people. Best cappuccino I have ever had in a hotel at breakfast.

Cons: The hotel does not look very nice from outside but the inside makes up for it. Very cosy and clean and nice details! The bathrooms are a little dated but as they are very clean it’s still ok.

Good location for a short visit.

Pros: Very good location, friendly and helpful staff. Room size was ok and it was clean. There is a nice garden on the 1st floor where you can have drinks or even eat dinner. Dinner was quite good. Despite the trains passing right in front of the building, I did not hear them with window open during the night.

Cons: Very oldfashioned; bathroom and furniture look like directly from the 70‘s. Breakfast rather lame/not special.

Pleasant stay in Rorschach even if business trip even relaxing

Pros: Lovely place, stuff are always nice and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nice. The breakfast is with large selection and they can prepare the own needs. Basement parking garage, City center, Lake view.

Cons: There is no elevator from the basement, only in the hotel.

Pros: Warm and welcoming. Good location close to station and ferry port. Excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: A little dated but part of its charm. Think mid century Barbie decor!

We stopped off on two occasions whilst travelling from Scotland to Bulgaria by car.

Pros: Very helpful staff. Close to all amenities in Rorschach. Having lived in Rorschacherberg for 14 years we new the area very well. Our dog also had a great time travelling with us. Only problem is we are now back in Scotland and the weather is much colder!

Cons: Everything was good.
