Pros: Fantastic location. Beautiful building and grounds. But above all, the staff were exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. They were fantastic!

Cons: Everything is expensive in Switzerland! :-)

Good !

Pros: I stayed at the hotel for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is very nice, with a beautiful location and lovely views. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cleanliness of the room and common areas was very good. Despite these points, it’s a charming place with great views and kind staff, and with better signage and clearer Wi-Fi support, it could be an even better experience.

Cons: However, finding the entrance to the property was quite difficult. There were no clear signboards or directions, and the pathways were hidden, which made arrival confusing, especially for first-time visitors. One issue we faced was with the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, it did not work during our stay, and the instructions provided were unclear. As it was New Year’s Day, there were no staff available at the front desk during the night to assist us, which made it harder to resolve the issue.

Pros: Fantastic location. Great views over the lake and surrounding areas. Staff was extremely helpful.

Beautiful views

Pros: Lovely hotel with good access to St Gallen with train stopping on the hill. Late evening taxi ride though was expensive as no trains. Views from room are lovey across the lake.

Pros: Beautiful location and view, lovely conversion of a historic building.

Cons: The grounds were fully taken over by the setting up of a big music festival.

Beautiful place, stunning view. It’s a castle.

Pros: But it’s a real castle, with very high ceilings in the rooms — just don’t expect modern comfort, because everything really is just like in a castle :)

Cons: We were traveling with a child. The booking conditions stated that the child could stay in our room, which we were totally fine with. But of course, we expected at least a separate pillow and blanket for the child — and there was nothing. The reception was already closed for the night, so that was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great.

Pros: Fantastic location facing to the lake Wartensee. Breathtaken view of sunset. Friendly staffs are helpful.

Great stay in a beautifully styled castle

Pros: Beautiful location and surroundings. Great view of lake Constance. Staff is very friendly.

Pros: The hotel is well maintained, the staff is always welcoming and smiley! The breakfast is very good!

Cons: The bathroom requires a renovation but it is functional!
