Very nice hotel in a beautiful place

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is wonderful. It is lovated in a beautiful village 2 minutes away from Appenzell. The staff is very friendly and helpful .

Cons: Keep in mind there is no AC in the hotel. We came in a very hot days and it was very hard to deal with the heat. We got a fan from the hotel which helped a bit.

Comfortable and modern room in a charmy small town

Pros: The room is quite modern and super comfortable. Breakfeast quite complete and with plenty of local food. Gonten is a tiny and charming small town, nice landscapes around.

Pros: A unique sleeping experience in this wooden knitted structure. The recovery factor is high, so you need one or two hours less sleep. So more time for cigars in the Schmitte :-).

Pros: Hatte dieses Zimmer für meine Eltern gebucht. Sie waren sehr zufrieden und unglaublich begeistert wie freundlich alle Mitarbeiter waren und wie schön das Haus ausgestattet ist.

Pros: Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht über das Huus Löwen und das ganze Setting mit der Tunnelverbindung zum Huus Bären. Sehr geschmackvolles Zimmer und sehr gemütliches Bett. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Mein Mann hat die Sauna sehr geschätzt.

l'albergo si trova in una regione stupenda, è come un museo a ciel aperto!

Pros: Albergo molto ben ristrutturato, belle camere e arredate con molto gusto! Colazione ricca! Sicuramente un posto ideale per scoprire l'Appenzello

Cons: Mancava un po' d'informazioni sulla regione per esempio escursioni, musei ecc.
