Switzerland 🇨🇭

Pros: Spent one night at the hotel. Room facing the church was spacious, comfortable and quiet (except for the church bells ringing). The large bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated and was quite luxurious. Very good breakfast buffet with a nice selection of bread and cheeses.

Cons: The hotel reception area was rather dark and lifeless. Also, no personnel around during breakfast to help or clear tables.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean upon arrival The hotel provided a baby cot for 25 CHF Breakfast buffe was enjoyable The lady during breakfast on our first morning was fantastic

Cons: Upon check in a little bit of assistance with luaggage and pram would have been appreciated The gentleman at breakfast the second morning was not very friendly and the breakfast room (on the second morning only) was a mess. The same gentleman rang us early on our last morning to ask us to check out early (check out normally is 12pm) which I thought was a very bad surprise

Pros: Everything as described in the listing. Sweets were provided (nice detail). Friendly staff and good breakfast. Place was well cleaned and well decorated. Pleasant stay.

Solid breakfast, excellent service, clean/comfy rooms

Pros: On our second stay at this hotel, we very much enjoyed the variety of fresh food and drinks at breakfast, especially the local cheese, yogurt and bread options. The young lady at the front desk went out of her way to share a butterzopf recipe with us when she noticed how much we were enjoying the bread! Very kind of her. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is well-located, just across the St. Mauritius Church. We loved hearing the church bells through the open windows.

Pros: Amazing place to stay. Allowed me to check in early which meant I could go hiking on my first day with ease! Helped with the Appenzell Travel Card. Such helpful staff, great recommendations for dinner in their sister hotel for traditional food. Excellent breakfast with really good gluten free options.
