Pros: Friendly staff that was very helpful. We had a last minute change of plans and the staff was very accommodating. The food in the restaurant is amazing. We speak English only and everyone was incredibly friendly. Located within walking distance to many great activities and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Besides the situation of the room, the rest of the premises were agreable and friendly.

Pros: Personnel, breakfast, cleanliness, friendliness was just very good. Very helpfull and competent employees.

Cons: The location of the room, I felt almost claustrophobic and extremely small space. I was glad to stay only for one night.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful (thanks again for that late dinner), clean, room was a bit small but still had enough space for 4 people, good breakfast.

Gasthaus Hof is a great place to stay while visiting Appenzell

Pros: Really enjoyed my stay at Gasthaus Hof. Great location in town center, staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was very comfy and modern. Breakfast was quite good and the restaurant is quite nice. Would come back here for sure!!
