Hotel Hirschen Wildhaus

A nice hotel with friendly staff, good food and a lovely pool with a view.

Pros: The spa was lovely, breakfast very comprehensive and the room spotless and practical.

Exceptional

Pros: From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making the stay effortless from start to finish. The room was a very good size, immaculately presented, and the balcony view was absolutely spectacular — a real highlight of the stay. Breakfast was excellent. The made-to-order omelette was exceptional, and the selection of fresh bread, meats, and cheeses was spot on and beautifully presented. The bar was open on our first night, and the barman was both highly competent and welcoming. With relaxed blues music playing in the background, it created a lovely atmosphere and was the perfect way to end the evening. A truly enjoyable stay and a hotel we would happily return to xx

Cons: Latte at breakfast was always cold, but didn't spoil the rest of the breakfast

Pros: Reception staff (especially Davor) was very competent and friendly, the barkeeper Marcell was also very friendly and mixes nice cocktails.

Pros: Amazing location. We visited in the summer and it is perfect for hikes and lake swimming. Restaurant serves delicious food.

Pros: Service level that can only be achieved if all employees really want to give guests a great experience. Especially the guy behind the counter was great. I had to change rooms on the first nights because there was some noice that sounded like a TV antenna or something. He was very pragmatic, empathic, and communicatively strong. Het told me that good service was a serious ambition of him and his team. Also I though it was cool he was a competitive COD player in his free time. Also the other guy behind the counter who helped me on the first night was very helpful as well. Shout out to the people in the restaurant too. We had a dog with us. They were always so kind to him. Also, they helped us store his food in the fridge and freezer and were so kind even though we would ask them for the food twice a day every day. Location was also very good, you can walk to this great pond near the gondola. Perfect for a swim and hanging out in the sun while enjoying the views. Spa was also nice.

Cons: Had to change rooms because a zooming noice in my room. Was unhappy about this but I cant complain because the staff solved it really wel. Ended up in the Junior Suite as a replacement room.

Pleasant stay in Switzerland

Pros: Rich and delicious breakfast, a lot of local and bio products. Great coffee! Swimming poll and sauna in the building. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Cons: Uncomfortable beds and pillows. Too soft and it was difficult to sleep well, our back hurt badly. No air conditioning, so it was pretty hot at night.

Nice place

Pros: The food served + service was good. If there was a menu in English it would have helped but i didnt ask.

Cons: One pillow, no spares in cupboard. Also pillow provided on bed of poor quality (thin with no strength). Realised too late in the evening to have gone to ask for extras.

Very nice and modern rooms

Pros: Very nice staff and breakfast lady, she was on top of everything, making sure everything was working and that nothing was missing. The breakfast was full of local produce: Homemade cakes, brioche, jams and lots lots of cheeses (there were at least 8 wheels). The rooms are really nice, modern and with great views! The Spa is great.

Cons: Paid parking: I had to pay 8 CHF for street parking. For such a small town, this is kinda weird. Also, once you get into the hotel, is like maze, has lots of stairs. This made it a bit difficult for us with our luggage.

Amazing place

Pros: Very comfortable bed, spacious room, wonderful view from the balcony. Very clean, nice staff and very good breakfast. It's worth mentioning that they are serving mainly local products which I highly appreciate. The cheese bar is amazing for those who love good quality Swiss cheese. Every day one can taste from a variety of 6-7 different locally produced cheese. The pool is also very nice, clean, nicely heated. We will definitely go back.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Perhaps more sunbeds in the pool area would be better.
