Switzerland 🇨🇭

Would defintely reconsider booking again next year

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has a lovely old-school charm that I appreciate. The room was spacious and had a cozy feel to it. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also conveniently located—just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop, which made getting around super easy. The kids had a great time at the play area, which was an added bonus. Overall, a lovely experience and I’d definitely recommend it!

Cons: There are a few areas that could use some attention. The breakfast could definitely offer more variety, and the coffee machine in the dining area was quite outdated—it could really use a replacement. A small touch that would improve the experience would be adding a shoehorn (those long tools) in every room, as it’s a nice convenience. Also, the pillows in the room weren’t the most comfortable and could use replacing.

Pros: Old hotel but very well kept. Clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff.

Pros: Ideal location for the Chäserrugg Bahn, comfortable large bedroom, hot, large shower. Good breakfast, good food in the restaurant.

Cons: The hotel wasn't busy, so the lounge was in darkness when we arrived, the bar was not open. We had to ask someone to turn on lights.

Pros: Our room was very spacious! The hotel was only a short walk from Unterwasser station, so it was a perfect location after visiting Chäserrugg!

A good place to stay

Pros: We visited Toggenburg for the first time and decided to stay in the Hotel Sternen, a place we found in TripAdvisor. The room was surprisingly big. Better than the other way around. Everything was clean and working. The desk staff was friendly and efficient. A good place to stay.

Cons: The bath was a bit small but functional.

Spectacular views in a heritage-rich environment.

Pros: Breathtaking landscape, whichever way you look. Rooms are spotless and neatly arranged. Very convenient to have a Coop nearby. We love having breakfast at the table, but when we travel, we prefer the buffet concept.

Cons: We realised before leaving that it was a sauna, but we did not have this information when we arrived.

Pros: Breakfast was great and the service was top classDo you realise that this is my second time I make this report.

Cons: I could not stay longer. The charm was the situation of the hotel with the fore Alps all around and in the background the Churfirsten mountains. I can imagine that such a charming Hotel sitting in the alps must be a jewel in the winter season.

Verhältnismässig eher teuer, dafür eine sehenswerte Region.

Pros: Lage perfekt. Frühstück: frischer Fruchtsalat, feines Brot, Eier, Käse, Wurstwaren, Joghurt, Müsli... was so dazugehört.

Cons: Wir haben ein Superior Doppelzimmer gebucht mit Parkettboden und Balkon. Das Zimmer war grosszügig mit Holzboden, Blick auf den Säntis, jedoch ohne Balkon. Teils Möbel relativ neu, dennoch gibt es Dinge die in die Jahre kommen. Dusche/Bad eher alt.
