Really good

Pros: Quiet neighbours and lots of free space outside,for people with animals prefect .Really fine room ,spacious beds and good shower ,enjoyed every moment. cigarette lounge is interesting to visit

Cons: Kettle wasn’t working but we boiled water in the pot ,so it was fine .Also we had to ask for water ,they forgot to put it in the room.

Characterful hotel on the southern edge of Konstanz

Pros: Characterful hotel on the southern edge of Konstanz. This hotel may appear traditional from outside but rooms have been renovated and were quiet with comfortable contemporary fittings. The bar specialises in whisky and the hotel is themed in a charming and eclectic Scottish baronial style. Breakfast was good and staff were very helpful. My suite was super well equipped with a separate bedroom with comfortable large double, large modern shower room, and living room with a kitchenette including microwave, hob, fridge and all you would need to self cater.

Cons: It was perfect for me!

A surprisingly memorable stay in an iconic Hotel

Pros: The host was so warm, friendly, gregarious and entertaining! This place totally exceeded our expectations. The grounds are very stately looking, the whisky bar totally iconic and the rooms super clean and very comfortable. Absolutely excellent value and truly memorable!

Cons: Would have liked the cappuccinos to be hotter at breakfast - a small detail all things considered!

Cons: Vastly overcharged for simple bottled beer. No restaurant (dinner), however nice little Restaurant right around the corner

Very good option for your trip to the Konstanz area.

Pros: Great location - 10 min walking distance from Konstanz. Rooms were very clean and functional. Very comfortable beds. Amazing shower. Good internet and very good breakfast. Easy and free parking. Hotel bar is simply excellent - great selection of Whisky from all over the world. Got very good welcome/check-in by Ude. and Frank (working in the bar) was simply amazing!! very knowledgeable about whisky, very entertaining, pleasant and helpful! Frank is a superstar of this hotel! we would come back again just to spend few more evenings with Frank!

Cons: Nothing really to complain about. Small fridge in guest rooms would be beneficial. Otherwise-cannot really find anything that we did not like.

Pros: Being just a little out of town meant my stay was wonderfully quiet. It is very short and pleasant walk to get to the main part of Konstanz. The outdoor areas to sit and relax are lovely.

Welcoming, quirky hotel on the Swiss German border

Pros: Welcoming, quirky hotel with lovely staff and comfy beds. Wonderful breakfast on the terrace. It feels like the middle of the countryside but is only a 20 minute walk to the beautiful city of Konstanz.

Cons: I didn't stay long enough

Pros: The place has its charm, located in a quiet area with a nice walk to Konstanz. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast. We were very satisfied with our stay.
