A friendly stay in a historic building

Pros: Super interesting historical building. Very friendly owner who made us feel welcome. Check in easeful which made a big difference after a long day hiking. Fabulous Italian 5 minutes walk away. Lovely fresh bread and cheese in the morning.

Cons: It was all to our liking.

Great spot for touring cyclists

Pros: Nice place to stay, basic but fine, and quiet. Good restaurant just down road, and breakfast here was very nice. Asked the host re the age of the building and received a guided tour of the cellar, built in 1214, it was great. Also safe storage and easy charging for our e-bikes.

Quirky but wonderful experience!!!

Pros: Reinhart the owner was really so friendly, helpful and a wonderful host. We were very lucky to meet him and to have him show us around the cellar area of the hotel. Wonderful experience!!!

Pros: Very helpful guest who tried to give pieces of advice as soon as he could. Tasty breakfast and you can order a fresh egg cooked as you want. Confortable rooms with good amenities. Very near the station: it's very useful to reach surroundding cities without taking the car: for instance Saint Gallen, Zurich or Konztanz

Cons: The room under the roof in the attic could be a little bit stuffy after a warm and sunny day.

Quiet comfortable stay on bicycle tour

Pros: Basic old style motel room but clean with comfortable bed. Quietest location we stayed on our bicycle tour around the lake. Simple breakfast but satisfyng. Very caring friendly host. A secure room to store bikes. 10 minute walk to the lake beach. A few simple places to eat within walking distance. A good overnight stop on our ride.

Cons: A fan in the room for warm nights and insect screens on windows would make a stay more pleasant
