Fischerhäuser Romanshorn

Pros: A beautiful and unique bed and breakfast stay with an excellent breakfast. It is as charming as the pictures look.

Cons: Check in was from 4 to 6, and we arrived at 5.45, but no one was there. This was solved by a telephone call but having advanced warning about how to check in would help.

Really recommend for a memorable stay.

Pros: Full of character and charm. Fabulous breakfast and delicious cakes. Central location by train station and harbour. Really friendly and charming host.

Cons: The soundproofing was not very good- we could hear people clearly in the next door room.

Pros: The building oozes character thanks to its provenence and has been tastefully updated with modern facilities. The location is great (especially if like us you are travelling by train) and the breakfast is fantastic.

Cons: As others have stated, due to the nature of the building the rooms can be noisy due to creaky floorboards though I can't say it bothered us.

Nice, old, wooden building. Rooms are on 1st floor, with quite steep stairs.

Cons: shared bathroom for 10 pax - be ready to wait a bit in line in the morning! Not enough lighting in the room.

Pros: Amazing breakfast included in room price, and very beautiful accomadation and surroundings nice clean and big bathroom, staff very helpful and kind and overall positive expierence. chill out launge shared seating space to relax if we didnt want to be in room and also very nice outdoor seating, it also had a resturaunt attached onto the accomadation, witch was popular and the food looked amazing.

Cons: the wooden floor boards where sqeeky in the room we stayed in.

Fischerhäuser Romanshorn has so much charm and character! It's a comfortable place to stay.

Pros: Fischerhäuser is so charming and quaint. It's easy to find, close to the train station, various restaurants and the lake. The staff are friendly and make sure you have everything you need. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. Breakfast is just lovely!

Cons: There really wasn't anything I didn't like but there are a couple of things to consider when staying here. The bathroom is shared with other guests (as is clearly stated in the description). If you're coming with a car, finding parking can be challenging. We ended up parking in the parking area behind Restaurant Hafen. You can pay 8chf for 24 hours and Fischerhäuser is just a couple minutes away on foot. If you're a light sleeper, you might be affected by the thin walls Fischerhäuser has. The people staying in the room next to ours weren't exceptionally loud but we could hear their conversations because of the thin walls. My daughter is a very light sleeper so this was an issue for her at times.

Pros: It was just an amazing stay! Just just have to keep in mind that you share a bathroom as they write in the description :)

Pros: Friendly staff. Outside srating area. Safe place to park bicycles. Breakfast was great, and the setting was top class. The food was fresh and well presented. Nice old building
