Friendly, comfortable hotel with lovely staff in pleasant location.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere, attractive location near the lake. The farm nearby had the most comfortable conditions for cows we had ever seen including an outside cow-wash. The place was organised and extremely well-run.

Cons: We were travelling with our dog but although the hotel was next to meadows and the lakeside, there was nowhere to let a dog run freely. The restaurant was extremely well run with friendly staff, but some light meal choices would have been welcome.

Pros: Typical Swiss breakfast, large selection of breads, cheese, yoghurt, teas, fruit juice, hot chocolate & fruit. Nice feature was the fridge of bottled water that the guests could help themselves to plus apples in season. Bed comfortable, Evening meals are nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Lots if parking

Cons: Lack of fridge & tea or coffee making facilities in room. No toiletries in bathroom. Only a desk fan in room, no air con. I prefer a firmer pillow. Only a soft feather version provided.

Recommended Countryside Hotel in a central location for exploring Lake Constance.

Pros: Lovely countryside location in the middle of an apple-growing area, excellent for walking or cycling and central for touring. Excellent food and a varied dinner menu with food that was well-cooked. My room was clean, comfortable with good facilities.

Cons: On arriving, the receptionist seemed to think I had double-booked; once through Booking.com and once directly. She also showed me data that she said I had entered, along with their confirmation letter in German which I had'nt received. I never found out what the problem was, but I suspect it was a glitch in their systems Otjherwise it was a very happy stay and I could happily have stayed longer..

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was very easy and quick. The beds were the most comfortable we had slept on for our entire holidays. Linens were very clean. We had a little balcony which was so nice, and the windows has flyscreens to keep unwanted insects out - very thoughtful. Two restaurants close by to choose from. Overall a very good stay.

Cons: A little kettle for the room would be appreciated. But otherwise everything was great.

A lovely little hotel and a top option while cycling if you are looking for something outside the towns

Pros: Everything you need for a stop cycling in the Bodensee. A lovely spot only a short stroll to the lake set amongst fields and fruit trees. Service and facilities were top with lots of nice touches.

Pros: Comfortable room, very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and above all, really sweet and helpful staff.

Lovely small hotel

Pros: Great location near the lake. Little balcony with our family room.

We had a magnificent stay!

Pros: Sumptuous. Great service. Lots of delicious choices in food. Fresh strawberries. Dinner was excellent too. Delicious entrees and wine.

Cons: Maybe a little more light near the mirror where the closet was located.
