Pros: We had a wonderful experience at Hotel und Restaurant Chäseren in Schönengrund. The guesthouse is extremely charming and welcoming, surrounded by breathtaking scenery with a direct view of the Swiss Alps and the impressive Säntis mountain — it looks like a postcard! The rooms are very cozy and warm, with windows that frame the landscape like a painting. The food is a true highlight: homemade, prepared with great care, and absolutely delicious. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a meal made especially for us — a gesture that shows the warmth and hospitality of the place. We are very happy with our choice and will always carry this experience in our hearts. Highly recommended!

Very nice surprise last minute booking for us!

Pros: Really nice people. Amazing mountain view from the room's window (family suite). Had a lovely evening walk in the area. Food is delicious - everything fresh and tasty. Very good beer and their cheese soup is to die for! Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

Cons: Shower/toilet room could be a bit bigger but that wasn't important.

Pros: Uitermate rustige ligging in een mooie omgeving. Charmant hotel, eenvoudig ingericht, echter geheel in stijl met het chalet achtige hotel. Kamers met uitzicht over het landschap. Goed bed met matras dat niet te hard en niet te zacht is. Badkamer met toilet, wastafel en ruime douche. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar en persoonlijk. Uitstekende keuken, diner echt grandioos. Parkeren direct aan de achterzijde en ingang van het hotel.
