Pros: I really loved my stay here, it was a lot better than what I expected! I am travelling quite a lot and have been to many hostels, but this one really stands out!! The location is next to the train station, the overall cleanliness is impeccable as well as the facilites which offer more than anything you could need. The comfort of this hostel truly is amazing, and really affordable too. On top, the host was really nice and accommodating - I recommend this place to anyone, I would come back anytime!

Pros: It felt so homey and cute and comfortable, I instantly felt at peace. And the kitchen was a really nice space to use. The host was also very helpful with pre-arrival messages.

Cons: It would be nice to have insect screens on the windows so we can keep them open to keep the place cool overnight, otherwise either bugs got in or it was a bit hot.

Pros: The place is at walk-able distance from the train station Urnasch. It is totally value for money. Have awesome views even from the room. The host Tamara is super friendly. Guests are allowed to use the kitchen, refrigerator, large cozy living room and dining hall. .

A lovely place to stay and cuddle with friendly cats.

Pros: A great place to stay, cuddle cats, and have friendly conversations with the host and other backpackers. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the common living room area is cozy and welcoming.

Cons: Nothing specific to mention. The furniture is a bit older, but in good condition. Simply cozy place.

Cozy stay before/after hike

Pros: Loved this comfortable and quiet stay in Urnasch. It was perfectly cozy and a great starting/end point for my hikes in the Appenzell area (only 30 mins away by train). Jessica was also very chill and friendly, she gave me some extra rosti she'd made too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.

Wonderful host, very well equipped kitchen, nice ambience.

Pros: A spacious and cozy apartment at the second floor with a nice living room and a kitchen equipped with more than everything one needs, including herbs, condiments , coffee, etc. Jessica is a wonderful host. I enjoyed the company of the cats too. This is a special place, it like staying with friends.
